Nobody can have missed that climate change is a hot topic. Few have
missed to use green arguments in order to sell more of their products
and services. Many strive for the making of a sustainable brand or a
sustainable image.

For all of you, we have good news and bad news:

The good news is
…that it seems that minimum environmental impact is a good sales argument
at a time when people obviously want to make green choices. A survey in
Sweden showed that 85% would choose an environmentally friendly alternative
and 49.6% were willing to pay more for such a green alternative.

Time seems obviously to be on your side.

The bad news is
…that there are quite a few critical eyes on those who make claims about
their green behavior. If what you say is not true, you might lose the trust
you have built up for years…in just a wiff. Nowadays people do not just
complain to their next door neighbor. They write a blog, initiate a movement
on the internet and hundreds-, thousands- or even millions of people can
be reached in a matter of hours. Someone out there might even nominate
you for the green washing index.

In that case, time will unfortunately not be on your side.
